REPLACEMENT FRAME PERCH PLATES (PAIR) FOR V6 MODELS AND 1ST GEN TUNDRA V8

Are your stock engine mount frame perch plates cracked/broken off? This is especially common at the bolt hole "ears" on the ends. Once the OE motor mount begins to wear out or fail, the rebound effect of the engine slamming around will begin to cause engine frame/perch damage and the actual frame perch plates are usually the first to go south.
You will have to cut the old perch plates off using a plasma cutter, or long blade sawzall, sand the factory paint around the cut area, and weld on your new perch plates. The best way to do this is to bolt the new perch plates to your new engine mounts, lower the motor down till the plates contact the freshly prepped perch tower, tack weld in place, unbolt the motor mounts from the new plates, lift motor back up and then weld the new plates to the tower. Let cool, paint, and lower motor back down and re-bolt, for perfect alignment. Done deal!
These perch plates are .188" thick, laser cut and are a beefy upgrade from the OE plate which is thinner material. These plates only replace the actual perch plates that the motor mount bolts to, if you have actual frame perch tower damage, that will require custom fabrication/welding.
